Tiny House Love: Industrial meets chic in Portland garage conversion

Tiny House Love: Industrial meets chic in Portland garage conversion

Here at TinyLiving, we spend a bit of time drooling over small homes.  Our most recent find is this garage-turned-studio, which caught our eye for its cool industrial design.

It was featured on AccessoryDwellings.org and has a spacious kitchen, a lofted bed and lots of natural light.

Bryan and Jen, the Portland couple who built the studio, talk about their experience creating the space,  and how living in the garage has brought them closer to their community.  Because of its  glass doors and front-facing kitchen, the unit has occasionally been mistaken for a neighborhood bar — but the couple takes it in stride and invites those who stop by inside for a drink and a tour.

You can check out their photos and story here.
